Ron and Gary are both licensed U.S. Coast Guard Captains and have been fishing the Atlantic Ocean and inshore waters of Northeast Florida since 1993. In addition, Ron has fished the entire east coast of Florida, the outer banks of North Carolina, Mexico, and many islands of the Bahamas while working on vessels ranging from 31’ to 72’.
As a team, they placed in the top 10 in 4 out of 6 Bluewater and Kingfish tournaments during the 2006 season including a 3rd place aggregate finish in the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament.
A1A Fishing Charters is a Son- and Father-owned sport fishing business operating out of Oasis Boat Yard & Marina in St. Augustine, FL.
We offer both offshore and inshore fishing experiences in the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding waters of St. Augustine. We also offer kayak fishing mothership trips.
The A1A is a 33' 2006 Dusky center-console powered by twin 275HP Verado outboards, and is the ideal platform to fish anywhere from the beach to the blue waters of the Gulf Stream.
